Trichloroethylene (TCE) is a neurotoxic solvent most commonly used to degrease and clean machine parts. There are currently approximately 3.5 million workers exposed to TCE, with 100,000 of them exposed on a full-time basis. Negative health effects of TCE can impact the central and peripheral nervous systems, skin, kidney, liver, and heart.
